Myriam El Kara is the founder of Sterling Acumen, a Singapore-based advisory firm focused on critical minerals, battery materials, and industrial supply chains. She advises manufacturers, traders, investors, and governments on market access, supply chain localisation, and the policy frameworks shaping the energy transition.
She has supported the development of mine-to-cathode supply chains for European battery manufacturers and works across nickel, cobalt, lithium, rare earths, and other strategic minerals. Her work spans project development, commercial structuring, market strategy, and the evolving regulatory landscape in Asia, Europe, and North America.
Prior to founding Sterling Acumen, Myriam was a commodities trader and investor with Noble Group in Asia, managing thermal coal and technology metals portfolios. Earlier in her career, she worked in capital markets law, distressed debt trading, and risk management consulting in Europe.
