MAN is the industry association and the umbrella body for all individuals and groups engaged across the Nigerian mineral value chain, which includes
exploration, mining, quarrying, mineral trading, consultancy, and other related services. The Association was established in 1944 as the Association
of African Miners, and it has the main objective of protecting and promoting the interests of its members through partnership and collaboration with
government agencies and all critical stakeholders to engender investment friendly policies for the ease of doing mining businesses. The Association is
headquartered in Abuja and has membership and chapters in all the 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT.
