Tope Adebanjo is a mining professional with over 20 years of experience in Nigeria’s solid minerals sector, and a champion of unlocking opportunity through investment in the country’s untapped mineral wealth.
He is Pioneer Managing Director of Borta-Cup Ventures Limited, a mining company, and Principal Partner and Country Representative of Tasaree International Limited, a project management, training, and consultancy firm for solid minerals. His experience extends beyond Nigeria to Guinea, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Zambia, Mozambique, and beyond, and he has attended leading industry events including the London Metal Exchange, JCK Las Vegas, and Imperial College London’s mining finance programme.
He is founder of the Laurel School of Mines, Nigeria’s first indigenous mining training centre, and is currently National Publicity Secretary of the Miners Association of Nigeria and Chairman of its Lagos State Chapter.
