The Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) was established by Act 38 of 1991 as Nigeria’s Export Credit Agency. It is owned equally by the Federal Ministry of Finance Incorporated and the Central Bank of Nigeria. NEXIM provides short and medium-term export financing, export credit guarantees and credit insurance, alongside business advisory services. Its priority sectors include solid minerals, manufacturing, agriculture and services.
