PROFILE OF ENGR. ABDULLAHI KIHAUSA ALSO
Engr. ABDULLAHI KIHAUSA ALSO holds MSc (Metallurgy), from Sheffield University, England, 1987, and BSc (Mineral Processing), from University of Exeter, Camborne School of Mines, England, 1981. He also had several technical and management trainings both locally and abroad.
Engr. ABDULLAHI KIHAUSA ALSO retired (in 2017) as Federal Director of Steel and Non-Ferrous Department of the then Ministry of Mines and Steel Development. He has over thirty years of professional working experience that covers his works as Consultant in Mining / Minerals and Metallurgical Fields; National Technical Advisor to Mineral Sector Support for Economic Diversification Project, a World Bank Assisted Project under the Ministry (2017-2024); Director (Steel & Non-Ferrous Metals Department-2013-2017); Technical Assistant to Honourable Minister (MMSD); He also worked in Ajaokuta Steel Company where he held several important management positions, including head of Light Section Mill (LSM), and Wire Rod Mill (WRM) amongst others.
Engr. A. ALSO is a Fellow, Nigerian Metallurgical Society (FNMS); Member, Nigerian Society of Mining Engineers (MNSME), Member; Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), and a Registered Member of the Council of Mining Engineers and Geoscientist. (COMEG).
Engr. ABDULLAHI KIHAUSA ALSO is currently with African Industries Group as the Director, Metals and Mineral Strategy.
